The Gentle Paw Story

On May 1st, Bouncy, a Shiba Inu puppy, entered our life. We still remember the rainy day that we piled into the car and headed to the airport to pick him up fresh off the plane from Winnipeg.

As new pet owners, we were full of anxiety and stress about whether we had everything we needed for our new puppy. As we purchased new products, and Bouncy grew older, we always sought out different ways to improve the products we bought.

Some of the products which we purchased were great, but there were always features that could make them perfect for first-time pet owners such as ourselves. It was during this time of our life with Bouncy that the idea and vision for Gentle Paws were born.

We understood that if we were nervous about different things as new pet owners, then other people would have the same stress and nervousness when they bought home a puppy for the first time. We wanted to design a range of products that were perfect for that family bringing home a puppy for the first time.

The first product that we came up with was a fanny pack that includes everything you'll need to tackle a walk with your new puppy. Our team is continually looking for innovative new ways to make lives easier for pet owners around the world.
